There are two versions of Laura Beyer's DooM included in this archive. /disk1 - The complete contents of the first disk. /disk2 - The complete contents of the second disk. /modern - An easy-to-use version of the WAD. The game originally came on two 3.5" floppies, which are included in the disk1 and disk2 directories. The install program works, but it does so by modifying your IWAD, so make a backup before running it. If you want to see the contents without installing, simply run disk1.exe and disk2.exe; they're self-extracting archives. In the modern directory you'll find a version that's much easier to install and play. * If you're playing with a source port like PRBoom, simply add lbdoom.wad to the command line. * If you want to play it with the original DooM executable, unzip the contents into your DooM directory and run 'deusf -as lbdoom.wad'(you only need to do this once). Now you can run it like you would a normal PWAD. The old package contains three bonus levels accessed through batch files named BONUS1, BONUS2 and BONUS3. In the modern version, these are located at E2M1, E3M1 and E4M1, respectively. Andy Olivera http://visionsofdoom.us/
