Original description: Stunning artwork showing off the female body surounded by verius items such as a human skull, a number of flowers, the Newgrounds tank and an one-eye monster.

Reason why it was removed: Deciding to pick this, or /r/place was hard, but /r/place in the end won, as it had a larger impart on the Web community, while the court case had a bigger impact on trash news outlets such as TMZ, The Daily Mirror and The S*n.
Original description: Courtroom sketch of American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift drawn by court artist Jeff Kandyba in a court case countersuit against former radio host David Mueller for alleged sexual assault and battery.

The sketch would be mocked by fans of Swift for not looking much like her. Jeff Kandyba said later that "I swear to God, I don't know what happened. I agree with them. My picture didn't look anything like her. When I sketched it I thought it did, but sometimes when you are done with the colours, and so on, the whole thing changes"

The case would lead in a victory for Swift.

Reason why it was removed: This one was hard to remove, after all, it is of Bowie, but it was removed as Ashley "Illma" Gore's "Make America Great Again" has an interesting story behind it.
Original description: Painting of the late David Bowie made only weeks after his death.

Reason why it was removed: It was going to be this, or a stunning painting about the rape of a woman and if anyone picked "ShecameforCWC.JPG" over "Look at me - the Rape", they'd look like a total cunt (and for good reason).
Original description: At first, people believed the picture to be of Christian's imaginary twin sister Crystal. In order to defend his fictional sister's honour, Chris said that the woman in the drawing was that of Megan, his real life friend.

This is not only one of the worst drawings made by CWC, as it shows us that he knows nothing about the female body, but it also destroyed his relationship with Megan, one of his only true friends.

Even more than ten years later, Chris (now Christine) has yet to make a new friend.

Original description: Art by one of the most infamous man of the 20th Century. Despite Hitler, being a fairly talented artist, his career in art went no wear at all and was really only known as an artist after he became the leader of Germany.

Reason why it was removed: As this work was not made by a human, who likely does not know about art, it is very certain that this photo was not made for the sake of art.
Original description: A selfie taken by a female Celebes crested macaque (Macaca nigra) in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, who had picked up photographer David Slater's camera, and photographed herself with it.

Because the photo was taken by a non-human, the photo falls under the Public Domain, however, photographer David Slater did not know this, and would send Wikipedia a DMCA regarding them hosting the photo on their website.
